My career started in the shipping business, which gave me a strong foundation for the world of business. In 1988 I came to Dubai, to work for a small interiors company, only 21 years old expecting to stay here for a few years only – Well, apparently that wasn’t to be.
In 1996, after a few years back in Denmark, during which I took a bachelor’s degree in International Business, I came back to Dubai with my wife and new born child. I joined a small interiors and furniture company as showroom manager and worked my way up to becoming managing director, for what was a leading office interiors company in the U.A.E.
I have over the years been dealing with manufacturers from all over the world; Haworth Inc, Republic of Fritz Hansen, Ege Carpets and Kvadrat Maharam to name but a few.
Well, bottom line is that I have 25 years of experience in the U.A.E. in the interiors and furniture industry, and to be quite frank and very direct: one of my future goals is to get your business and I am sure that Xworks can offer you a lot in return.
