Clina Heiz- und Kühlelemente GmbH was founded in 1994 and employs a staff of 25 people. The company develops, manufactures and sells synthetic capillary tube mats made from polypropylene and well as innovative system solutions which use these as a platform.
The major application area of these highly efficient heat exchangers is cooling/heating ceilings. The considerable benefits over conventional air-conditioning systems and competitive systems have resulted in them becoming well established in Germany and other markets since the end of the 80s.
Furthermore, Clina capillary tube mats are also used as highly efficient surface temperature control systems in walls and flooring for heating and cooling as well as for ground collectors for heat pumps.
The vast surface area and the extremely high degree of efficiency attainable are particular features of Clina capillary tube mats. It is because of this that it has become possible to cool and heat efficiently (yet still conveniently) even with minimal differences between water and room temperature.
