بدأت شركة سمتكس للمنتجات البلاستيكية أعمالها كأحد المصانع المتخصصة في المنتجات البلاستيكية عام 1974 م والتي تعد واحدة من شركات عائلية في المملكة العربية السعودية. تضم شركة سمتكس للمنتجات البلاستيكية في الوقت الحالي أحد مصانعها في المدينة الصناعية مدينة جدة حيث تشمل الشركة على العديد من خطوط الإنتاج المختلفة مثل ( استريتش فيلم -الاشرطة اللاصقة – شرينك فيلم – شريط تربيط بي بي– رول فقاعات – الرولات الانشائيةوغيرها) .

تعتبر الشركة واحدة من المنتجين والموزعين بالمملكة ومنطقة الخليج حيث تسعى الشركة إلى تعزيز جودة المنتجات الوطنية من خلال فريق عمل قوي مُدعم بأحدث التقنيات الصناعية، كما تسعى الشركة ايضاً الى تحقيق تواجد قوي في الأسواق العالمية من خلال منتجاتها لتحقيق طموحات عملائهاوتراهن الشركة في خططها المستقبلية على الخبرة والمعرفة التي تراكمت على امتداد 45 عاما من جهة، وعلى المميزات التفاضلية التي تتمتع بها المملكة من جهة أخرى.كما تقوم حاليا بإنجاز دراسات الجدوى للتوسعات جديدة.

It is also carrying out feasibility studies for new expansions.
