The Al Abdullatif tradition started in 1958 with founder Sheikh Omar Al Abdullatif, who recognized the business potential in trading of Furniture & furnishing artistry which got converted into full fledged manufacturing in 1980. After making modest progress in the field, he moved into Carpet manufacturing business by establishing Saudi Carpet Factory in the year 1981 at 2nd New Industrial city, Riyadh producing Tufted & Woven Carpets.
With his next generation joining hands, the family introduced modern techniques and creative approaches to carpet manufacturing. The group started to expanded vertically backward into Spinning, BCF Yarns, Master Batches, Paper Tubes, Backing & Non-woven’s to ensure cost & quality.
In the year 2007 the company became Joint stock company listed on Saudi Tadawul Stock exchange renamed itself as Al Abdullatif Industrial Investment Company leaving behind the family legacy.
Over the years the company evolved itself as diversified manufacturer of world-class Carpets, Rugs & Non-Wovens selling directly to manufacturers, exporters, importers, retailers.
Al Abdullatif family played a very significant role in creating down stream business of the petrochemical sector in the Kingdom. The promoter’s also have stakes in Furniture’s, Home interiors, Cement, Real Estates, Ceramics & Power cables business.
