   Metals Services Company was established originally in 1971, as a family owned pipeline construction firm working exclusively for Saudi Aramco. Under a new ownership since 1995, Metals Services Company is a wholly owned Saudi Arabian organization, within a Saudi International Conglomerate.

Metals Services Company has accumulated extensive experience over the last 36 years of operation, starting with the successful implementation of major pipeline projects for Saudi Aramco. Among the contracts completed are construction of over 3,000 kilometres of cross-country pipelines, trunklines, flowlines, water injection lines, wellheads, cathodic protection systems, tie-ins, electrical and instrumentation, maintenance, rehabilitation and related civil works. Metals Services Company has executed projects, including pipelines up to 48” diameter.

In addition, Metals Services Company has developed extensive skills in plant work, most of which has involved upgrades and modifications to Saudi Aramco Refineries and Bulk Plants. During the last 10 years, Metals Services Company had worked in the Dhahran Bulk Plant, Riyadh Refinery, Riyadh Bulk Plant, Qassim Bulk Plant, Jeddah Refinery, Jeddah Bulk Plant, Abha Bulk Plant, Jizan Bulk Plant, and Yanbu Refinery. Work has included tank erection, pipe manifolds, pump installation, fire systems, underground SEWARS and water supply services, substation buildings/control rooms, pipe bridge erection, electrical power distribution, safety upgrades, etc.

Metals Services Company’s Procurement Department has extensive experience having successfully purchased and delivered to our Sites equipment and materials with over $ 175 million dollars. The majority of this equipment and materials were to Saudi Aramco Specifications and installed in facilities owned and/or operated by Saudi Aramco’s Procurement activities included selecting Saudi Aramco approved vendor, obtaining vendors NMR’s, receiving and approving Vendors Quality Plans and Quality Inspection Test Plans, vendor inspection as required by Specifications and/or Saudi Aramco 175 Forms either utilizing our own personnel or Saudi Aramco approved third Party Inspection, Expediting, Scheduling inspections and Client notification, packing, shipping, ensuring proper shipping documentation, Customs Clearing, and Inland Transport.

Items procured include but not limited to Multi Product Shipping Pumps, Multi Product Transfer Pumps, Fire water Pumps (Electric and Diesel) with jockey pumps, metering skids, Tanks Product and Firewater including design, fabrication and erection, Transformers, Switchgear, Motor Control Centres, Control Valves, MOV, EIV’s, GOV’s, and all instrumentation.

Metals Services Company has its headquarters along Dammam-Khobar highway in the “Al Saeed Business Towers”. The main operation centres are located in Al Khobar, Hawiyah, Abqaiq, Ras Tanura, Buraidah, Rabigh, Khurais and Yanbu.

The Company owns and maintains, one of the largest fleet of construction equipment, ranging from the largest trenching machines in Kingdom (TRENCOR 1660 HD - 2 no., TESMEC TRS 1675 - 1 no.) Side booms, Dozers, Backhoes, Graders, Cranes, Loaders, Bending Machines, Trenchers, Automatic Welding Machines, Hydrostatic Pumps, Thrust bore Machines, Compressors, G. E. Fully Automated TOFD and Phased Array Ultra Sound Equipment.

To support the construction activities our Procurement Department ensures that equipment and material supplies from both, In-Kingdom and Out of Kingdom are readily available for the continuity of construction work.

The Management places great emphasis on Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Safety, and are at present being certified for ISO-9001. The Company is the recipient of many safety awards. A team of qualified QA/QC and Safety Personnel govern set procedures that are strictly followed by all concerned, in accordance with the requirements of the Client.

Metals Services Company have now set up to new in house Ultra-Sound Inspection Division and at present are the only Company that is capable of Testing Pipes and Vessels with the latest G. E. WERLDSTAR Automatic Ultra-Sound Testing Equipment, which is capable of both TOFD (Time of Flight DEFRACTION) and Phased Array Inspection.

If requested by the Client, the owners of Metals Services Company will provide a performance guarantee or Bank guarantees.

Metal Services has now developed a fully fledged MEP division working on Projects such as Tunnels, High-Rise Building, Medical Facilities, Car parks.
