مدارس رياض نجد : كانت الخطوة الأولى عام 1416هـ بإيمان راسخ أن الاستثمار في الإنسان استثمار طويل الأجل لا تنعكس مردوداته أرقاماً حسابية مجردة بل إبداعاً معرفياً يستثير العقل وينمي الميول والاتجاهات والقيم الإنسانية مع اليقين أن الحاجة ستظل قائمة لإيجاد مشروعات تعليمية رائدة تستفيد من التجارب العالمية المتفوقة ، وتحافظ على الجذور المتأصلة في فكر الإنسان العربي المسلم ووجدانه ، مع صبغ ذلك كله بألوان البيئة المحلية . البداية سبتمبر 1995م: v مبنى صغير مستأجر . v كادر تربوي . v خطوات متئدة لم تتجاوز الصفوف الثلاثة الأولى لمدارس البنين والبنات ، مع مرحلتي الروضة والتمهيدي بمجموع (30) طالباً و(40) طالبة . سبتمبر 1996م: v الصفين الرابع والخامس الابتدائي . v ازدياد عدد الطلاب إلى (60) طالباً وطالبة . سبتمبر 1997م: v اكتمال المرحلة الابتدائية . v بلغ عدد الطلاب (101) طالباً والطالبات مع مرحلة الروضة والتمهيدي (147) طالباً وطالبةً. سبتمبر 1998م: في العام الرابع لإنشاء المدارس حدثت نقلة نوعية ومادية كبيرة تمثلت في الانتقال للمجمع المدرسي الجديد في حي الحمراء على مساحة (35 ألف متر مربع) ( عدا المواقف والخدمات) لتضم: v مدارس (ابتدائية ومتوسطة وثانوية) للبنين . v مدارس ( ابتدائية ومتوسطة وثانوية ) للبنات. v مدرسة لمرحلة الروضة والتمهيدي ( روضة1 – روضة 2 – تمهيدي). v صالة رياضية مغلقة ( تنس / سلة / اسكواش / بلياردو/طائرة /بناء أجسام ) v نادٍ صحي للتمارين البدنية واللياقة الجسمية . v مسبحين وفق المواصفات العالمية . v عدد كبير من الملاعب المفتوحة ( المغطاة والمكشوفة ) v مركزاً للندوات . v عيادتين طبيتين . v عدداً من البوفيهات الداخلية والخارجية . v مجموعة من المعامل والمختبرات ومراكز التقنيات والمكتبات والمصليات والمراسم وورش الإلكترونيات والخزف ومعمل الذهب ولمشتل الزراعي ونحوها . هذا عدا الفصول الدراسية ومكاتب الإدارات والمشرفين والمنسقين وغرف الاجتماعات ومراكز الصعوبات ومصادر التعلم والمرافق المتصلة بها . من خصائص المجمع : حرصت المدارس على أن يشتمل مجمعها على عدد من المواصفات الدقيقة المتصلة بالأمن والسلامة ، وتهيئة الأجواء لتعزيز العملية التعليمية والتربوية ومنها: v سعة الفصول الدراسية العادية ( 7 × 7 ) أي (49) متراً مربعاً ، عد وجود قاعات دراسية أكبر . v تم تصميم الساحات الداخلية والخارجية بحيث تكون مفتوحة مستقيمة دون انحناءات ليمكن الإشراف عليها . v وضعت الشبابيك الخارجية بصورة لا تقبل الفتح أو العبث . v زودت جميع القاعات الدراسية بزجاج جانبي يمكِّن مديري المدارس والمشرفين التربويين والمراقبين من متابعة الأداء داخل الفصول دون أن يترتب على ذلك إرباك للعملية التعليمية. v وضعت دورات المياه أمام مكاتب المراقبين ومكشوفة لهم ، وكل دورة مستقلة بذاتها ( لم تجمع داخل غرفة) v تحتوي كل مدرسة على ثلاثة سلالم (درج) إضافة إلى مخارج الطوارئ ، ولأسطح المدارس باب واحد قبل بداية الدرج لا يسمح بالاختفاء . v لا يمكن قفل القاعات الدراسية من الداخل حرصاً على سلامة الطلاب والطالبات . v تم تصميم الأثاث المدرسي وفقاً للمواصفات التعليمية العالمية بحيث يتناسب مع عمر الطالب/ـة ويريحه في أثناء جلوسه . v تم تجميل ساحات المدارس بأشجار النخيل العالية والأشجار الطويلة ، وارتدادات المدارس ممتدة بلا التواءات تتيح رؤية نهاياتها v باشرت المدارس عامها الرابع بحوالي (520) طالباً و(600) طالبة موزعين على المراحل الابتدائية والمتوسطة بالإضافة لما يقارب من (200) طالباً وطالبة في رياض الأطفال . سبتمبر 1999م: وتمشياً مع خطة المدارس في التوسع ، تم افتتاح القسم الثانوي في المدارس وجرى التوسع في المرحلتين الابتدائية والمتوسطة بحيث ضمت مدارس البنين حوالي (1000) طالب موزعين على المراحل الثلاث وكذلك مدارس البنات .واهتماماً من المدارس بالعمل اليدوي والفني جهزت المدارس مشاغل التدريب المهني والإلكترونيات وورش للنجارة والحدادة والخزف واللحام . واستمرت رياض نجد في مسيرتها تحث الخطى بعزيمة وثبات لتستشرف الغد الآتي ، باحثة عن صنوف المعرفة في كل زمان ومكان لتنهل من ينابيع التطور والتكنولوجيا حسبها ري غراسها المتجددة . سبتمبر 2004م: ونتيجة لسعيها الدؤوب وتطورها المتواصل نجدها في سبتمبر 2004م قد انتظم عقدها ، واكتمل نضجها لتضم في سويدائها ( 1685) طالباً في مدارس البنين و(1508) طالبة في مدارس البنات إضافة إلى رياض الأطفال وتضم (285) طالباً وطالبة .
