تأسست في عام 1963 في مدينة جدة، الوطني والحلويات شركة مصنع الطحينة المحدودة، يعتبر واحدا من الحلويات الرائدة ومصانع الطحينة في المملكة العربية السعودية ومنطقة الخليج.

يشتق الحلويات من السمسم الأبيض الطبيعي وتعتبر من الصناعات التقليدية في الشرق الأوسط / والبحر الأبيض المتوسط. هذه الصناعة هي جزء من التراث الثقافي للمناطق المذكورة، حيث اكتشف الناس القيم الغذائية من السمسم.

ونتيجة لذلك اعتمد على الحلويات الطحينية والاحتفاظ بها في الاستخدام بين النظم الغذائية الرئيسية في جميع الأوقات. ويرجع ذلك إلى العناصر الغذائية العالية الموجودة في السمسم مثل هذا: البروتين، الكالسيوم، الحديد، فيتامين E و(خالية من الكوليسترول) النفط. الوطني الحلويات والطحينة مصنع المحدودة هي امتداد لتاريخ أن تصنيع الحلويات عميق الجذور.

The Tahainia confectionery is derived from natural white sesame and considered among the traditional industries in the /Middle East and Mediterranean regions. This industry is a part of the cultural heritage of the said regions, where people discovered the nutritional values of sesame.

Consequently the Tahinia confectionery was adopted and kept in use among main dietary systems across all times.
